Andrew was great in explaining what he felt is the only solution to my basement problem. The water issue is not o severe that I want a sump pump in my basement. I plan to monitor the water penetration for a bit longer before I commit. I may be contacting you next year if it worsens.

Andrew proposed a logical solutions but, as mentioned above, I prefer to evaluate conditinos until next Spring before I make a decision.

We encapsulated the crawl space by installing a layer of drainage matting over the crawl space floor to prevent any moisture from entering the crawl space while also allowing water to move freely underneath. On top of the drainage matting, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system to prevent any moisture from entering the space while also making the space clean, dry, and usable. To prevent the crawl space from filling up with water, we installed our sump pump system, which collects any water that flows under the drainage matting and discharges it out and away from the foundation of the home. Now the homeowner has a crawl space that is clean, dry, and usable for many years to come.
